Julie Clark’s oil-based monotype prints are inspired by the flux and pulse of the sea. Having experience in travelling through adverse conditions, Clark is especially interested in the ocean’s temperamental quality, it’s propensity to change within a moment.

 

Her painterly approach to the printing process ensures that her work retains the same power and spontaneity as her subject.
